| Neil
J. MacKinnon received his Ph.D. from the University of Illinois in 1970
and was on faculty at the University of Minnesota until he returned to
Canada to accept a position at the University of Guelph in 1972. He was
a Visiting Scholar at the University of North Carolina in 1978-1979. His areas of specialization include social psychology, quantitative methods, and contemporary theory. His research area is social psychology. He has just began a fourth SSHRC-funded projects in Affect Control Theory, an extension and formalization of Identity Theories in Symbolic Interactionism. He has just completed a three year term as a member of the Editorial Board of Social Psychology Quarterly. |
